MAINTENANCE

If the elevator will remain unused for an

extended period of time, turn off the circuit

breaker and unplug the charger from the wall

outlet.

NOTE: The batteries may need to be

recharged before normal use if the

elevator remained in the OFF position

for an extended period of time.

To recharge, turn on the circuit

breaker, reconnect the charger to the

wall outlet and wait until the charger

LED’s indicate that the batteries are

fully charged.

The SRE-2000

s designed to give you many

years of reliable service with minimal required

maintenance.

To ensure the best service life:

1. Keep the stair rail channel clean and free of

debris.

2. Park the carriage at one end of the stair rail

so that the batteries charge when not in use.

3. Keep the battery charger plugged into a "live"

outlet.

4. Have a qualied service technician clean,

check, and grease the unit at least once a

year (see maintenance list on next page).
